Upon arrival at the Boryspil International airport, you will be met and greeted by a Vesna representative and transferred to your hotel in the city (approx. 40 mins driving time).

En-route to hotel, our representative will enrich you with the basic information of the city.

Kyiv – ancient city is the capital of Ukraine and one of the biggest cities in Europe. It has been standing on steep hills overlooking the Dnipro River for more than 1,500 years. Kyiv is known as the mother city for all Eastern Slavic peoples. Kyiv Rus is the state from which Ukraine, Russia and Belarus are all descended.

Overnight stay.

Post breakfast we will drive you for the Kyiv city tour, visit the remarkable city spots pass by the Golden gate, the selfie bridge, walk along Mariyinsky park, to Mariyinsky Palace (outside) and the Independence Monument. Later drive back to hotel.
Post lunch drive to the Museum of Corruption and visit the private zoo, horse stables, tennis courts, a rare-breed dog kennel, a museum of exotic cars reflecting how corrupt the former Yanukovych regime had become. The centre piece of the estate is world’s largest wooden palace “Honka” projected by Finnish company. Later drive back to hotel.

Overnight stay.

Option 01: Post breakfast we will drive you to Aviation Museum the greatest museums in the capital – the Aircraft Museum.

Option 02: Post breakfast we will drive you to Dytyatky 30-km Zone Checkpoint – passport control and safety rules briefing. Entering the Zone, driving to Chernobyl, you will see that Chernobyl is virtually a usual Ukrainian small town, where the workers of the power plant and other exclusion zone state companies are based.

Stop near the exposition of machinery and equipment which were in use to mitigate the catastrophe consequences.

Option 03: Post breakfast we will drive you to Chernobyl-2 Secret Object. DUGA-1 over-the-horizon radar station

DUGA-1 object is one of the most well-known objects of the former USSR. Its exact name is in fact «5H32».
The radar was supposed to detect air targets, like launched intercontinental ballistic missiles. The signal emitted by the radar reminded of a woodpecker hammering. For this reason, the object has been nicknamed “the Woodpecker”.

Boxed lunch (because Covid-19 restrictions the canteen temporary does not work)

Option 04: Drive to the abandoned town of Pripyat and visit the red forest, the Pripyat sign on entering the town, stop on the central square of the town, a walking tour Energetic Palace of Culture, the Ferris Wheel, town hall which became the first headquarters of the governmental commission mitigating the consequences of the accident, Prometheus cinema, river port, sinking pier.

Post the tour you will be driven back to hotel.

Option 01: After breakfast, proceed for a tour to a golden-domed Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Monastery. This UNESCO World Heritage site has twenty-eight hector functioning monastery contains caves, numerous churches, towers, a printing works, miles of maze-like underground tunnels containing numerous churches and some of Kiev’s riches museums.

Option 02: After breakfast, proceed for a tour to Memorial Complex National museum. Visit the of the history of Ukraine in the Second World War. The museum was founded in 1973 commemorating the heroes of the battlefields, the Glory cup and the exhibition of the arms from the World War II time, the Motherland Monument (102 meters high).

You will be driven back to hotel after this informative tour experience.

After breakfast, proceed to Boryspil International airport to catch your onward flight home.
